AGM roles
The meeting organisers determine the role in which you will be invited. The invitation will be sent as an AGM notification email.
Participant
If you are invited as a meeting Participant, the AGM invitation email will prompt you to Accept or decline the invitation.
Furthermore, the invitation specifies whether the meeting is virtual, in-person, or if both options are available. Not only can you view information about the meeting and delegation in the front office, but you can also take various actions, such as scheduling your attendance.
If you are also eligible for reimbursement, you will receive a second email asking you to enter the bank details.
Correspondent
You may also have been invited to compile the participants list of your delegation as Correspondent. If you confirm this role, you will be able to add others and also yourself to the participant list. Only those on the participant list are expected to attend the meeting. Please note that not every delegation works with Correspondents. In some cases, the meeting organiser determines the participants directly, without the help of a Correspondent.
Watcher
If you confirm the invitation as Watcher, you will have a passive, read-only access to AGM. Watchers can view the same information about the meeting and their delegation as Correspondents. Watchers don’t attend the meeting, and they cannot take any action in AGM.
Candidate
You were invited as a Candidate through AGM to participate in an interview or medical examination and are eligible to claim expenses. Although your role is also that of a participant, the process differs slightly from that of other meeting participants. This is why there is a separate guide for you.
