Access AGM

Web browser

The supported browsers for AGM are Firefox, Google Chrome, and Microsoft Edge.

Depending on your settings, your browser may remember the EU Login account you previously used as well as your access method. If you don't use the correct EU Login ID, you will encounter an authentication error. Please refer to the dedicated section below for solutions.

The browser also may cache previous versions of AGM. If you encounter issues, try clearing the cache and cookies of the browser. Steps do so are shown on the support pages of the respective browsers: Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge.

EU Login and AGM

EU Login is the European Commission's authentication service. It  manages access to a wide range of Commission web services.  It is possible that you already have an EU Login account because you worked with other EC applications in the past. You can use the same EU Login account for AGM but you might have to configure it so that it adheres to the AGM requirements. AGM requires additional to your password a second authentication factor

To access AGM, use your personal EU LOGIN account that is related to your personal mailbox. If you don't have an EU LOGIN account, first go to EU-Login and follow the instructions there  to create it.

Configuring a second authentication factor

To log in to AGM, you'll need to use 2-factor authentication. Please configure your EU-Login account accordingly. There are several options for setting up a 2nd authentication factor.  We recommend to install the EU-Login app as second factor where you enter a PIN code or scan a QR code. Please follow the steps in the linked EU Login support pages to do so.

If supported in your country, you can also link an eID to your EU Login account. We recommend to first create a normal EU Login account (EU Login IDs starting with an "n") and then immediately link the eID (EU Login IDs starting with an "v") to it. As a result, you can use both authentication methods to access same (normal) account ID.

If the eID is not linked to your normal account ID, the system cannot recognise that both belong to the same person.

Log in to AGM

First you will have to link your EU-Login account ID to the meeting invitation. You do this by clicking Accept or decline on desktop in the AGM invitation email and authenticating with your EU-Login account.

After authenticating with your EU-Login account, you’ll be asked to link the meeting to your user profile (EU-Login account ID).

accept_invitation_2_eui_0

Activating your profile means that, from that moment onwards, AGM fixes your access to the specific EU Login ID of the current profile, not only for this meeting, but for all meetings in this meeting group.
